Car Curtain FAQ
Will custom curtains sag over time?
Carlife car curtains are made with top-quality Taiwanese materials, featuring a one-way, top-to-bottom stretch that ensures they won't sag even after extended use.
Are the car curtains washable? How to wash them?
If the curtains are dirty, remove the hooks and hand wash them with clean water or bleach-free detergent.
Please try to avoid using a washing machine, and dry them in a cool, shaded place. (Do not expose to direct sunlight)
Does removing the car curtains leave adhesive residue?
Carlife uses 3M adhesive, which is different from the foam tape used in the market. It is easier to clean, with 80% removability.
However, some residue may remain. Use appropriate solvents or cleaners such as stain remover or 3M adhesive remover to dissolve or remove the remaining adhesive.
In addition, wiping or scraping methods can also be used, depending on the surface and material.
It is recommended to test before cleaning to ensure that the method used will not damage the surface. However, it may not be able to completely remove all adhesive residue.
Can the side front window be made full?
For safety reasons, the curtains are made to cover two-thirds of the B-pillar forward. If full coverage is desired, the front side triangular window must also be covered (using Velcro).
The front side window and front side triangular window will be priced as "rear side windows." An agreement must be signed before the order can be processed.
Why are Carlife car curtains more expensive than other car curtains on the market?
Carlife Car Curtains VS. Generic Car Curtains
- The fabric used is original dope-dyed yarn, not common dyed fabrics on the market. It will not fade even after extended use, unlike other brands whose color blocks fade unattractively after prolonged sun exposure.
- Carlife fabric has been treated for sunfastness, achieving level 4 or higher (out of a maximum of level 5), meeting European, American, and Japanese import standards.
- The soft track has been granted a global patent. It eliminates the rattling noise common with other car curtains while the vehicle is in motion. All adhesive backings use 3M-grade tape, which will not damage the car's interior.
